Sold out- Norton Wine Grape Vine
Norton is native to Virginia, and is more tolerant of wet soils than many other wine grapes. Norton has small to medium clusters which bear firm, round, black berries. Grown commercially in Arkansas and Missouri. Called the " Cabernet of the Ozarks" and the "organic wine grape". Norton produces a rich, medium to full bodied red wine with a dry character similar in style to Cabernet Sauvignon, but with more spice. Zones 4-8 Shipped dormant and BARE ROOT (wrapped in damp paper, no soil)
We have bottled 3 gallons of wine off of 4 vines that were planted 4 years ago! Very productive, needs pruned heavily every year.
